Abstract Aim Acute cholecystitis (AC) accounts for up to one third of emergency surgical admissions. The initial management AC includes fluid resuscitation and appropriate antibiotic therapy. aim this study is audit compliance with local microbiology guidelines the treatment develop interventions that improve rates. Method All patients admitted from September December 2020 radiologically confirmed were included in an prospective (n=39 patients).
